Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday signed an accession agreement, clearing the way for the Balkan nation to become the military alliance's 30th member. Each NATO member state now needs to ratify the accession deal. The country is expected to join NATO under the name of the Republic of North Macedonia.
