Machli was the longest surviving tigress in wild

Machli (T-16), who died on Thursday at the Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan at the age of 20, was the longest surviving tigress in the wild. Referred to as the "Queen of Ranthambore National Park", she was also the world's most photographed tigress. A postage stamp was issued in Machli's honour in 2013.
