Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina has reportedly left the country amid growing public discontent with his leadership and spiralling Gen Z protests. Rajoelina reportedly flew out of the country on a French military aircraft on Sunday as he had struck a deal with President Emmanuel Macron. Earlier, Rajoelina had said that a coup was underway in the country.
