Made-in-India chips showcased at Semicon India 2026
Several semiconductor chips designed by Indian institutions, including IIT Roorkee, IIT Indore, NIT Meghalaya and SVNIT Surat, were showcased at Semicon India 2026. Chips from companies including Micron, CDIL, SEMI and Suchi Semicon were also displayed. During the event, PM Narendra Modi called India a "new and trustworthy" location for electronics manufacturing.
