Nibe Limited has announced the successful no-cost, no-commitment trial of its Vayu Astra-1 loitering munition with a 100 km strike range during trials conducted in Pokhran and Joshimath. The Pune-based company said the anti-personnel variant carried a 10 kg warhead during the test. Under the government's procurement process, NCNC trials are conducted without any payment or purchase commitment.
