Madhya Pradesh accounts for most tiger deaths in 2016

As many as 76 tiger deaths have been reported across India this year till October, with Madhya Pradesh accounting for nearly a third of all deaths. It is followed by Karnataka, which has the highest tiger population among the states. This reportedly is the highest national mortality figure since 2010. All the investigated deaths have been attributed to human intervention.
