Madhya Pradesh will hold its first 'cow cabinet' meeting today to discuss introduction of cow cess for promotion and conservation of cows. The meeting is aimed at offering sufficient funds for maintenance of state's 1,200 gaushalas and construction of at least another 2,400. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan had said the cabinet will comprise animal husbandry, forest panchayat departments, among others.
