American singer Madonna took to Instagram to share that she has acquired a Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT. "I finally entered the metaverse...My very own Ape!" she said. According to The Block, the NFT (non-fungible token) was bought by MoonPay, a crypto payments firm that purchases NFTs on behalf of celebrities, for 180 Ether (over ₹4.3 crore) last week.
