Physical traits can't determine person's religion: Madras HC

Madras High Court ruled that physical attributes like fair skin, height, and curly hair cannot determine a person's religion or community without anthropological evaluation. The court set aside a committee's order that had invalidated M Ravikumar's Adi Dravidar community certificate, directing authorities to grant him a personal hearing within four weeks.
