Four election petitions have been filed before the Madras High Court challenging Tamil Nadu CM Vijay's election win from the Perambur constituency. Two of the petitions were filed by his rival candidates and DMK leaders RD Shekar and Inigo Irudayaraj, while the other two have been filed by voters. Vijay had contested the assembly election from Perambur and Trichy East.
