Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who was captured by the US, is a follower of Sathya Sai Baba and flew to India in 2005 to meet him. Maduro was introduced to the spiritual guru through his wife, Cilia Flores. Reportedly, a huge portrait of Sathya Sai Baba was installed at the Miraflores Palace, the Presidential residence.
