Maggi, Lay's, Kurkure expiry dates altered in massive racket in Maharashtra
The Maharashtra FDA, led by Tukaram Mundhe, has busted an alleged food labelling racket at a facility in Navi Mumbai, seizing 4,942 cartons of food products worth ₹75.21 lakh. Manufacturing and expiry dates were being altered before the goods were repackaged and prepared for export. Lay's, Kurkure, Maggi, Knorr, Thums Up and Limca products were among the stock seized.
