Suspended Bareilly City Magistrate Alankar Agnihotri, who recently resigned from his post over "anti-Brahmin" new UGC rules, sat on a protest outside the District Collectorate office in Bareilly. He alleged that there was a coordinated attempt to keep him confined at the DM's camp office. He also demanded that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigate the matter.
