Two earthquakes, with a magnitude of 7.6 struck within five minutes in the Peru-Brazil border region on Wednesday. The earthquakes were reported at a depth of 600 km and 611 km respectively. The tremors were felt in northern Chile, the Brazilian city of Brasilia and Peru's capital, Lima. Peru's emergency services said that no damage has been reported so far.
