Magnus Carlsen defeated defending champion Gukesh Dommaraju and Fabiano Caruana to clinch the Norway Chess 2025 title on June 6. This is Carlsen's second consecutive win in the Norway Chess tournament as he was the winner of the 2024 edition of the competition as well. With this success, he has won the Norway Chess competition for the sixth time.
