Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde on Thursday announced a Diwali bonus for Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) employees, health workers and teachers in the state. BMC, BEST employees and teachers will receive ₹22,500 as a Diwali bonus. The health workers in the state will receive one month's salary as a bonus.
