A Right to Information query has revealed Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis' vehicles were issued e-challans 13 times for overspeeding between January and August this year. However, the traffic police waived the ₹13,000-fine. A statement was issued by the traffic police, saying Fadnavis' convoy vehicles are exempted from speed limits over "security threat perception."
