Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde on Tuesday asked Western Railway officials to reconstruct Gopal Krishna Gokhale overbridge in Mumbai's Andheri at the earliest. He also directed BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal to ensure proper traffic management. This comes after the area witnessed traffic jams after the dilapidated bridge, which links Andheri East to Andheri West, was shut for traffic on Monday.
