The Election Commission on Friday allocated the party name 'Shiv Sena' and the 'bow and arrow' symbol to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's faction. Last year, Shinde revolted against Uddhav Thackeray, leading to MVA government's collapse in Maharashtra. He went on to form the government with BJP. Ever since, Shinde and Thackeray have been fighting for the party's name and symbol.
