A woman doctor died by suicide in Maharashtra's Satara on Thursday night. In a note, she accused police sub-inspector (SI) Gopal Badne of raping her four times over the past five months. Badne has now been suspended. Notably, the doctor had raised similar allegations in a letter addressed to DSP of Sub-Divisional Office, Phaltan, on June 19.
