Maha food body suspends 30 licences, seizes stock worth over ₹1 cr between Sept 23 & 27

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration suspended 30 food licences and seized 50,601.78 kg of food stock worth ₹1.19 crore between September 23 and 27 as part of a statewide festive-season crackdown. Action was initiated against establishments, including Kyani & Co, Colaba Sweet Mart, Arun Vilas Farsan and Ruchi Veg Restaurant, among others, over alleged violations of food safety, FDA said.
