A Maharashtra man who failed Class 10 after spending more time creating art than studying went on to become a painter known for depicting rural life, Maharashtra’s Wari tradition and village culture. Navnath Kshirsagar cleared the exam the following year, joined Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, and later graduated as a university topper. His work has earned national recognition.
