A man in Maharashtra's Kolhapur was booked on Sunday for allegedly putting a WhatsApp status on Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and hailing the emperor on the messaging platform, police said. A case under Section 295 and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code was registered by the police after a complaint. The matter is under investigation, an official stated.
