The Maharashtra government has put on hold a June 30 notification allowing homoeopathy doctors with a short Certificate Course in Modern Pharmacology to register with the Maharashtra Medical Council, following strong protests from the Indian Medical Association. The decision to suspend the registration process was taken after a meeting between IMA leaders and CM Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday.
