Maha plans EV charging stations, MSRTC to go 100% electric by 2036

Maharashtra government plans to set up electric vehicle charging stations at MSRTC depots and Regional Transport Offices across state. It is also considering stations at flyovers through public-private partnerships, with a proposal sent to CM for approval. Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik said MSRTC aims to convert its entire bus fleet to electric buses by 2036 and urged people to switch to EVs.
