In 2021, Pandurang Baral saw a video on passion fruit farming and decided to try it. He procured fruits from a farmer and prepared plants from their seeds. He now cultivates passion fruit in the drought-prone Indapur taluka of Maharashtra, making an annual profit of Rs7 lakh per acre. He also helps other farmers to start this exotic fruit cultivation.
