Maharashtra Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) cancelled service licence of Zepto's facility in Dharavi over unhygienic conditions, a report stated. Investigation revealed that certain food articles in the Dharavi dark store had fungus growing on them and products were stored in or near clogged or stagnant water. Additionally, expired food items weren't clearly separated from non-expired stock.
