Maharashtra FDA seizes 1,190 kg laddus over excessive colouring in Pune

Maharashtra FDA seized ~1,190 kg of laddus and raw materials worth ₹1.73 lakh from a Pune unit in Kondhwa after detecting excessive food colouring and unhygienic conditions. Acting on a tip-off during the festive season, officials collected samples of boondi and laddus. Further action is underway, the FDA said.
