Maharashtra forms panel for MMR water plan till 2051

Maharashtra has appointed a study group, headed by retired IAS officer Dr Sanjay Belsare, to prepare a comprehensive water management plan for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region up to 2051. The group, including civic bodies and key agencies, must submit its report within three months, addressing demand, climate change, and sustainable supply strategies.
