Maharashtra gives traders 1 year to comply with FDA's edible oil rules

Maharashtra government gave traders one year to comply with the new restrictions on sale of loose edible oil after revoking the ban by Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The government will form a committee of FDA officials and traders to recommend measures for complying with the restrictions. Cooking oil must be sold in sealed and labeled packages under the restrictions.
