Maharashtra government ordered an audit into housing schemes in Mumbai on Tuesday after BJP MLA Mihir Kotecha alleged a ₹2,000 crore scam. He alleged that developers constructed and sold commercial units and high-end residential flats on land meant for slum rehabilitation. Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal said the audit report is expected within 30 days.
