Maharashtra government on Saturday imposed additional curbs amid COVID-19 surge with effect from Monday (January 10), including a night curfew (barring essential services) between 11 pm and 5 am. Schools and colleges will remain closed till February 15. Restaurants and cinemas can operate at 50% capacity but will be closed from 10 pm-8 am. Maharashtra recorded 41,434 new COVID-19 cases.
