Maharashtra Health Minister Tanaji Sawant said all district and rural health centres have been put on alert due to rising influenza cases. This comes after two people died of suspected H3N2 influenza virus. Health facilities' preparedness will be reviewed every three hours and guidelines will be issued in next two days, Sawant added. He advised public to practice social distancing.
