Maharashtra government has decided to ban the sale of loose cigarettes in the state as there were no danger warnings to smokers on those sticks, unlike cigarette packets, as per reports. A public notification for the same is expected to be issued in a couple of days, following which Maharashtra will become second region after Chandigarh to implement such ban.
