In the wake of rising complaints of overcharging by private laboratories in the state, Maharashtra Health Minister Prakash Abitkar has announced plans to cap diagnostic test prices. In a statement, he said that within the next three months, the government will be introducing new pricing regulations for diagnostic centres.
