Deepa Mehta, the first wife of actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar, has passed away. Their son Satya Manjrekar confirmed the news in an Instagram Story, writing, "I miss you mumma." Deepa, a costume designer, tied the knot with Manjrekar in 1987 and had two children - Satya and Ashwami Manjrekar. They got divorced in 1995.
