Folk singer and BJP's candidate from Alinagar for the Bihar Assembly elections has proposed renaming Alinagar to Sitanagar if she wins the election. She stated that the idea was shared by BJP leader Nityanand Rai, adding, "I agreed with his suggestion, as...the name should have its connection with Mithilanchal." Bihar will go to polls on November 6 and 11.
