A major fire erupted in a 10-storey apartment in Belgium's Antwerp on Wednesday, which left six people dead and several injured, officials said. "First the electricity went out. Three minutes later we got ⁠a fire alarm. By then, there was already smoke in the ​hallways," a resident said. Residents reported being unable to escape and were brought down using ropes.
