Amid row over Vistara's revised pay structure, CEO Vinod Kannan said pilots would benefit from new contracts. "The majority of the pilots, as long as they fly the same number of hours as they're flying now, [will] be better off with the new contract," he stated. Fifteen pilots reportedly quit and several others took sick leaves to protest revised salaries.
