Malala Yousafzai addressed an interview for British Vogue's July edition, wherein she questioned need to marry. "I wasn't against it...I was cautious about its practice...I questioned...[its]...patriarchal roots...I feared losing my humanity," she said. "If you want to have [someone] in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers, why can't it just be...partnership?" she had earlier stated.
