Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, who turns 19 on Tuesday, was the co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014, making her the youngest person to win a Nobel Prize aged 17. The prize was jointly awarded to Malala and Indian activist Kailash Satyarthi for their struggle against the suppression of children and for the right of all children to education.
