Malayalam screenwriter-director KR Sachidanandan, popularly known as Sachy, passed away on Thursday at a hospital in Thrissur, Kerala. The late 48-year-old was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday as he had suffered a cardiac arrest after undergoing total hip replacement surgery at another hospital. Sachy's condition was critical and he was on ventilator support for almost two days.
