Christoph Mueller, CEO of Malaysia Airlines, on Monday announced that the company is "technically bankrupt". Referring to the accidents of last year, Mueller said that the "decline of performance started long before the tragic events of 2014". The CEO on Monday sent termination letters to all of its roughly 20,000 employees, followed by new contracts offered to 14,000 of them.
