Malaysian ringgit falls to 25-year low

The Malaysian ringgit fell to a 25-year low, the currency's lowest level since the Asian Financial Crisis. The currency dropped by 0.3% to 4.7625 per dollar, the weakest since 1998, becoming the worst performer in Asia this year after the Japanese yen. The losses come as the dollar gains on haven demand amid concerns over the Israel-Hamas war.
