Maldives bans entry of Israeli passport holders
short by Bhawana Chaudhary / on Tuesday, 15 April, 2025
Maldives has banned individuals holding Israeli passports from entering the country after President Dr Mohamed Muizzu ratified the Third Amendment to the Maldives Immigration Act. The government described the move as a direct response to Israel's "atrocities and ongoing acts of genocide…against Palestinian people". However, Israeli passport holders can enter Maldives if they have dual citizenship.
