The Maldivian government summoned Indian envoy Akhilesh Mishra on Sunday to lodge a protest over BJP leader Subramanian Swamy's tweet asking India to invade the country if their elections are rigged. Following the uproar over his tweet, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, "The opinion expressed by Dr Swamy...is personal. It doesn't reflect views of the Government of India."
