Force India, the British Formula One team formerly owned by businessman Vijay Mallya, has been renamed to Racing Point F1 after being taken over in August by Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll. The team's 2019 drivers will be Mexican Sergio Perez and team owner Stroll's son, Lance. Notably, the team had competed as Force India for 11 years.
