As per Malwarebytes, malware-infected software installers are being spread via ads that appear while victims are having conversation with Microsoft's chatbot, Bing Chat. Malwarebytes said a victim may be prompted to click on a malicious link while asking queries to the chatbot. The ads were served via Microsoft advertising platform from legitimate but compromised ad accounts, an official said.
