FIFA and PUBG are among 28 games that were exploited by malware between July 2021-June 2022, affecting over 3.84 lakh users using nearly 92,000 malicious files, a report by Kaspersky researchers said. Attackers create fraudulent pages mimicking in-game stores' interface to cheat users into entering their social media login credentials. The pages offer users in-game weapons and artefacts for free.
