BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari alleged he was attacked by goons sent by West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, adding, "Mamata's goons are not voters. They are all outsiders." He further said he was attacked while visiting polling booth number 217 during the second phase of polling of West Bengal Assembly elections. Adhikari is contesting against Mamata Banerjee from the Bhabanipur seat.
